Crack Filling
Asphalt pavement begins to deteriorate almost as soon as it’s placed. As the pavement is exposed to oxygen, the asphalt hardens. This hardening results in a brittle surface that will eventually crack. The cracks enable oxygen and rainwater to penetrate the pavement, often into the sub base, weakening it and reducing pavement strength. Seal coating protects the surface and fills surface voids, reducing the pavement’s exposure to oxygen and water, and extending pavement life.
We will fill your cracks using state of the art crack filler; however, we can not eliminate them. Crack repair service is not intended to make the cracks invisible, but to provide a watertight seal between the foundation of your driveway and harsh weather conditions. The crack repair may also be visible underneath the sealcoat.
